New for the fall of 2006, the Prestige Bronze Winchester Cannon is the latest addition to the Winchester Model 98 collection.

This cannon features a mirror polished solid bronze barrel, laser engraved with the famous Winchester Horse & Rider artwork, mounted on a cast bronze undercarriage. The undercarriage, wheels and crossbar are cast using the original foundry patterns from Winchester.

Each cannon will display its own unique serial number in a banner engraved across the polished trunnion ring.

The breech assembly is hand polished to a mirror finish. The hammer is fitted with the anti-friction roller, just as the original cannons were in 1903.

In addition, the Prestige Bronze cannon is accompanied by a custom built display showcase with a removable presentation display base and storage compartments for blank shells and cleaning supplies

Each Prestige Bronze Winchester Cannon comes complete with a Certificate of Authenticity and a reproduction of the Winchester Cannon's 1901 patent application.

The Prestige Bronze Model 98 is entirely manufactured in the USA by the Bellmore Johnson Company, under exclusive trademark license from the Winchester Division of the Olin Corporation.
